Being Still.

For God alone my soul waits in stillness. From him comes my salvation.

He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold, so that I will not be utterly shaken.

To God alone, be still my soul; from him comes all my hope. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold, so that I shall not be shaken.

In God is my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock and my refuge is God. Trust in him always, O people; pour out your heart before him, for God is our refuge.

Once God has declared it, twice I have heard the same, that power belongs to God, and yours Lord, is faithful love.

For you yourself reward everyone according to their deeds.”

Psalm 62 (abridged)
